This free Virtual Issue gathers together selected frailty publications from the Age and Ageing journal. It covers many of the main issues including describing the condition
conceptually, reporting its epidemiology, contrasting different options for
clinical assessment, detailing the adverse outcomes of frailty in older
subjects, and lastly and perhaps most importantly providing insights into what
interventions might improve outcomes for frail older subjects (and their
carers).
