The most important finding of this systematic review is the
lack of understanding of test accuracy measures by health professionals.
Published in BMJ Open, the results of
the systematic review of the evidence on test interpretation found that, across
multiple studies, clinicians do not accurately interpret common measures of
test accuracy such as likelihood ratios.
